IDEA Mainframe Transaction Stations provide advanced ergonomics and productivity-enhancing features for mainframe transaction processing applications.

Advanced Power Management and Ergonomics
IDEA leads the industry in ergonomic, energy and safety standards compliance. IDEA's monochrome Transaction Stations are among the first to be approved for the strict TCO emissions standard. And advanced power management system helps reduce energy consumption with a programmable shut-down option while eye-pleasing, flicker-free displays provide refresh rates of 82-88 Hz to alleviate user fatigue.

Productivity-Enhancing Features
Mathematical functions may be performed on-screen with IDEA's comprehensive, user-friendly calculator. An automated import and export feature eliminates transcription errors.

Setup time in large installations is reduced significantly with IDEA's unique Copy Wedge. The wedge enables easy duplication of record/play sequences, printer and other setup parameters from one Transaction Station to another.

To meet a full range of user requirements, IDEA's 1024 x 768 SVGA NI color Transaction Stations are available with a 14?, 15? or 17? monitor.

Time-Saving Autokeystroke Editor
Frequently used, lengthy keystroke sequences can be recorded and saved to function keys for automated playback. IDEA's time-saving Autokeystroke Editor enables the user to copy a recorded sequence to another function key and edit only the necessary segments. It also significantly reduces the amount of re-keying that must be done when recorded sequences are effected by modifications to host parameters.

Unique Migration Path
IDEA's commitment to maximizing the useful life of installed devices has resulted in a desktop line that is modular, flexible and fully upgradable to PC functionality. IDEA's SVGA Transaction Stations can be easily converted to LAN or coax-attached workstations to support topology changes and provide access to Windows applications.
